Let me preface this by saying that I love both of these authors. They're highly competent and have written some great stuff. However, certain classics should be left alone and Little Women is one such classic. I don't like the idea of our Jo being reduced to a romance. Maybe the rest of the book contributes something more to the original story, but as it stands, this excerpt doesn't give me much hope.
