When I saw this book listed, I almost skipped it. I absolutely loved Little Women, and the last time I read a modern retelling I was sorely disappointed. In addition, I have plans to reread it this year, as well as the follow ups. How much Little Women could I take for one year? But curiosity got the better of me (I'll just read the First Look and not enter the giveaway) and before you know it, here we are. I've always loved Jo the most and admired her spunk. And I'm intrigued...I want to know how the author will handle this book. Will it meet my expectations? It has big shoes to fill! I'm sold - can't wait to find out!
