I have always enjoyed Melissa de la Cruz's novels, and I LOVE anything and everything Little Women, so I opened up this First Look as soon as the email came through. I'm torn on reading rewrites/reimaginings of familiar beloved characters, though, because sometimes they just don't measure up. It appears that these authors won't leave me feeling that way, though. Jo, Meg, and Amy's dialogue fits the way I always hear their voices in my head, many years after I first fell in love with the books. Even the font choice seems to fit my expectations for a product of Orchard House. I can't wait to read the whole novel!
