I have to confess that I actually don't mind how the relationships ended up in Little Women. I can understand people's frustrations, but I think Jo and Laurie worked well as friends. That being said, I am always interested in seeing other people's take on things, and while this definitely didn't FEEL like Little Women, I can read and enjoy it as something inspired by but separate.
