OK I was immediately drawn to this book as soon as I read the synopsis and saw that it takes place in the Florida Keys, deals with fake dating, the main male character is a firefighter/paramedic and dive captain. I absolutely love Florida although I’ve never been to the Florida Keys, I love any work with fake dating hate to love I don’t care which outfit is if it’s got romance I’m here for it, I also work as a nurse, and last year I got my scuba diving certification. So basically this book was written just for me. I will say there are some heavy issues in this book including eating disorder and recovery cancer in recovery and grieving after death of a loved one however this book is lighthearted and fun although it does deal with some serious topics they aren’t part of the main storyline but they’re right there with it but they aren’t talked about a ton so don’t think this book is more serious than the cover leads because it is fun. Overall I really enjoyed reading about Sarah and Luis and had fun with them on their vacation in the Florida Keys. I do wish there was a little bit more steamy times and I was also hoping for some scuba diving. On all this book is super fun and great if you’re looking for an escape especially with everything going on right now and being quarantined however this book doesn’t come out until April. It will also be great for the warmer weather or if you’re on vacation. I can’t wait to continue on with this seriesand see where things go!
