Priscilla Oliveras is one of the best contemporary romance writers I know that features Latino people. I love the Latin culture that she brings alive on these pages. The family being overprotective and super nosy is a common trait among these families. It's sweet, heartfelt, and funny too. The cast of characters in Island Affair made this story feel real. I enjoyed each one of them. I rooted for the main protagonists. Their family and love lives were big and complicated. Plus, their growing attraction grew as the story unfolded. I was hooked from the start of this charming summer read all the way until the last page. Overall, I recommended not only reading this latest book by the talented writer but also, trying her other novels.
