Let me start off with saying Priscilla Olivera is an amazing writer. Her descriptions of the Keys and the relationships between Luis and his family struck me as beautiful and unique. I truly felt for Sara and her less than perfect relationship with her own family. Ric made a mistake not going on that vacation, but all the better for Luis. The relationship developed beautifully over the pages, even in the first interaction between the two when Sara proposed fake dating to Luis. They are living the whirlwind romance I have always dreamed of having. I appreciate that Olivera has truly immersed the readers into Luis’s culture. A lot of Romances focus on two white characters, or a white character with a non-white character who may as well be white. It’s refreshing to be able to connect to a character the way Olivera has written them. If you love romance, beach vacations, and bright personalities, with a hint of realness in the form of ED and cancer recoveries, then this read is for you!
