the intro did nothing but turn me off to the story -- there was far too much grunting, 'caveman grunting,' cursing, shoveling in food, and the like. You know how sometimes it doesn't take much to know you won't like a book? This is one of those cases. the characters are trying so hard to be 'masculine' that they're just funny.
