The premise sounds like right up my alley. I love contract relationship romcoms and I hope the rest of the book is not the same as the first few pages I read.
The premise is great, but I didn't feel invested with the characters. However, it is just a few pages. The start was lukewarm at best and I hope the sizzle would develop in the next chapters.
I wasn't a fan of the execution of how the pretend relationship happened though. Sara basically proposing to a total stranger who she knew nothing about??? I think maybe it could have been written in a different way, at least some common friend or person introduce them? Not off the bat proposing a crazy scheme right the moment she met Luis?
I would still read this though just because I'd like to know if the hijinks at all the pretending is good fun. I am not going to buy the book though. I would borrow.
