I love a good Fake Dating trope. I'm not sure I like the meta wink wink name drop of "The Wedding Date" because it feels a little too on the nose to have a character call out the similarities between the plots. Also, I know it's fairly common practice, but I still think it's odd to just sprinkle random non-English phrases (in italics!) to remind the readers that the character speaks another language. Still, this seems like it'll be a fun and breezy entry in the Fake Dating genre.
