Home. It's not necessarily a place, but in this case, part of it is. Born and raised in Miami, I spent so many hours in my grandmother's kitchen. Originally, my family is from Portugal via Cuba. So Florida Latin culture and cuisine always make me smile. While it's becoming more popular, it's still sparingly found in modern romance literature. I can hear my grandmother's and my cousin's voices in reading the first look. I love the vocabulary, and and the feel of home in the words. I'm so excited to read this book and be transported without the price of the plane ticket! Count me in! :)
