I have to say that I do like that this story has a diverse main character and Luis seems just as fleshed out so far as Sara. However, that's not saying much. Who gets off a plane and asked some random guy she's known for literally 2 minutes to spend a week with her and her family, and lie to her family about who he is? This is nuts, a very typical romance troupe and I'm just not into this premise. Representation does not a good romance make.
Also, just the beginning with Luis talking to his brother at the fire house was just kinda boring. It didn't suck me in from the start. The action starts when he meets Sara, it should have started then, don't ya think? Introduce us to who the characters are simultaneously as the action is occurring.
