I appreciate that in the opening chapters, they acknowledge similarity to a romantic comedy film classic, The Wedding Date. Similarly to that film, here Sara needs Luis to play her boyfriend for a week to appease a high strung family.
I wouldn’t necessarily put this on a reading list right away, but in the right time or place I’d definitely pick it up. Sounds like a great beach read!
