First of all, thank you to Bookish First and the publisher for a copy of In the Night of Memory, which I won in a raffle. Upon researching this story a little more, I was excited to find that there are other books by this author that take place in the same setting, which I fully intend to read now that I have read and loved In the Night of Memory. I loved the setting of the reservation; I think that sometimes we (the majority culture) forget that there are still reservations in which people live, which I think is fascinating. The way that the author writes is lyrical and there is something extremely beautiful about her prose. I loved this story, and I would recommend it to anyone who loves a good story. 4 stars from me!
