In the book " In The Night of Memory", by the title I expected it to be entirely different. After reading the few pages it made me want to read more. Why did she give the girls away? Where was her family, why could they not help her? Did she give voluntarily give them up or was she ordered to surrender the girls to the County? Was Loretta really going to the hospital like she told the social worker and sick? Where did Loretta go? These are just a few questions I would like to find the answers too.
