I'm very intrigued by this book. As a Native American myself, I love to read books that include indigenous history. However, this book feels as though it is packed full of pain and sorrow. I'm interested in the story, why did their mother leave, what will become of them, what hardships did they face? But I'm hoping there is also light in this book, happiness rolled in somewhere, somehow. I'm intrigued
