Interesting
The cover is simple, but attention getting. Those look like tears on the cover, and this book sounds like it would be pretty heartbreaking.
The historical aspect of this book draws me in as well as the story of foster homes. Most foster home stories seem to not be pretty.
Would you need to read the first book for a smooth transition or is it a stand alone?
