I’m interested!
Everything about what this books seems to be about has me wanting to read it, because it also appears that it has a lot of important things to say with people whose perspectives have been overlooked and voices that have been silenced. That being said, it feels like it’s a bit more of a character-driven novel, and while this is great for many people, I find that I struggle with these types of novels not so much because of the content but the way it’s written - I find myself doing a lot of daydreaming or wishing for the plot to hurry up and unfold. I don’t know that I’d get as much out of this book on paper as I might on audio with someone telling me the story so I can better focus in, not daydream, and listen to the ideas and themes being presented.
