This novel from the very beginning is heartbreaking. I want Loretta to win her kids as much as I want Azure and Rainy to be with a family that can actually love and support them fully. It is devastating that Loretta's children are taken away, but it is necessary for them to be fed and cared for. I am really looking forward to reading more of this book and learning how these little girls' lives and Loretta's turn out.
