Loretta is not taking good care of her children, Rainy and Azure. Because of this, her girls are taken away from her, and yet Azure remembers the little details and their time together rather fondly. The writing is very lyrical, and the preview speaks to a lot of heartbreak - of sisters close because they have no one else, a mother that loves her children but can't take of them. How you take any memories you have of someone you love and hold tight, wishing more, any are forthcoming. It would be interesting to see how the rest of the story plays out, since it sounds like it spools out quite a bit more than what I'm able to read.
