There aren't nearly enough stories that I have read featuring Native American authors and stories. That makes me really want to read it in the first place. Besides that, once I began reading, I was struck by just how beautifully it's written! It's a story that sounds amazing and I can tell will just be beautiful, despite the difficult subject matter.
