First off, without even reading a single word this book feels like a work of art. Immediately I'm taken by the bright colors, gorgeous painting, and very cool family photos the author includes. I appreciate the melding of myth and family and stories in the author's note at the beginning, and that plus the prologue makes me certain that this entire book is an expertly crafted and well-examined family history.
