Very interesting! The cover is beautiful!

I've never read a memoir before! I am very curious about other people and other cultures though and enjoy reading a variety of different books in different genres. I don't know much about Chinese culture or mythology but this book sounds absolutely riveting. I was never interesting in learning history in school but now, as an adult also living in the South (Texas), I find myself drawn to stories about the real history of the world. I can also relate to losing my father and feeling that enormous sense of loss and of being lost. I look forward to reading this book and equally as excited to see the paintings included in the book as well.
