The description was good, but the first few pages were even better!
Wow. Not only does the book start off beautifully in terms of how it is presented - the art sets the story up, the first lines are captivating, and the story is structured creatively by following the Chinese zodiac - but the story that hopes to be told is one that sounds incredible. In the first few pages alone, the author does a good job of combining colorful narrative, family pictures, and scraps of poetry and other quotes that help tell the story. These help make a story that is already very notable more intriguing, and I am eager to read more!
