From the moment I read about the life of a man who defied the Jim Crow system of that era, I was fascinated. It takes a lot of guts and determination to overcome the hardships and prejudices to forge a path and to succeed beyond what was possible.
I really would love to read this book. It is an inspiring book for anyone irregardless of race, background, gender.
