The cover is beautiful, first of all. While this is certainly not the type of book I would normally gravitate to, the synopsis actually grabs my attention. This seems like a little snippet in the life of a family in the midst of all these major historical events happening around them. It would be interesting to see the impact of these events on a family that lived through those things.
