This book is one of my new, favorite genres, and I have found myself reading so many memoirs lately. This book seems right up my alley, and I would love to read the whole thing. I also love reading books by Asian authors, and this book seems to be a different sort of story, coming out of China and Jim Crow South. Absolutely loved the start of this book, and I really can't wait to read more!
