Upon seeing the cover, I thought this would be an Asian fiction fairytale. I was very intrigued when I learned this was a memoir. The illustrations and designs are beautiful and set the tone for an adventurous story. I love how the myths were explained and incorporated into the story as if they were real. I feel like this preview was too short to really understand the story, but I’m interested in more.
