While I do enjoy learning about other cultures and history that wasn't printed in my school text books, this memoir/mythology mashup was much more graphic than I was expecting.
I did find it well written and the story is intriguing--I enjoy escape stories, especially when they center around people who have risked their lives to stand up for their rights.
