After some mediocre sex, a 3 year hiatus, and more mediocre sex, Julia considers that she might be a lesbian. Okay, fine. However, at this point Julia goes a bit overboard trying to make up for lost time? She ends up involved in a really scary relationship, blindsided by the concept that she should be okay with it because she is a lesbian. I was not comfortable with so much sex. I don't want to hear that much about anyone's sex life! I was also not comfortable with Julia's relationship itself. Way too many obvious signs that it was an unhealthy relationship. I am sure those situations arise but I honestly would have preferred more focus on her becoming comfortable with herself and with the more positive relationships she formed.
