I really wanted to like this book, it had a great description and was very relateable. Unfortunately I was not able to get past the first few chapters. Julia was somewhat likeable but It was very hard for me to get past the selfpity and the very descriptive almost stereotypical description of what gay people talk like. There were words that I would never use to describe a female, don't get me wrong I am not all women's rights but the language did not turn me on.
I could also tell right away that Julia was being preyed upon by Sam has her character became darker and more obsessive once she exposed Julia to the LGBT world. Maybe I will try this book again in a few months and might feel differently.
