I enjoyed this book, but I didn't love it unfortunately. I had recently read Queenie and hoped it would be similar, but it lacked development and the amount of sex and really good sex for someone discovering their sexuality seemed a little unrealistic. The premise had a lot of promise, and I would love to have more books in this vein about queer women. This one though did not live up to its potential unfortunately. I haven't read or seen Bridget Jones's Diary so I can't speak to the connection. I would possibly pick up future books from this author since this almost, but didn't quite hit the mark for me. Loved the queer representation and the diversity of sex shown in this book. Really wish I had liked it more.
