When I say this is steamy I almost feel as though that’s a highly understated word for it. I was interested in more development of the main character and would definitely wished she’d grown more into her lesbian way vs “Oh I’ve had some crummy sex so I think this is just how this is now”. I wanted a more depth ridden character, and I got a bit of a half ran through one. The relationship was so eye opening that you almost cringe because it’s expected it feel like for a “romance” drama to need some bad romance and rude off characters, I know they can’t all be sunshine and rainbows but I feel most people would notice these blantant red flags and pick up shop to not suffer through. With the story unfolding I rather enjoyed the humor aspects but really wish the LGBTQ community would get some proper romances where people aren’t always coming out cause sex was bad or the first relationships they go through are abusive.
