I thought this book might be up my son's alley and that's what originally interested me in it. I was definitely right. He seemed to really enjoy the book and read it within a few days. He seemed to really like all the characters and the adventures they went on. He had a bit of trouble here and there pronouncing words but he is only eight so that's to be expected.
All in all it seems like a really good read for the younger people. He really liked the cover as well and thought it looked nice on his shelf. I would probably buy more from the author in the future as it seemed like he enjoyed it and that's really the most important thing. I want my kid to grow up enjoying reading and books like this help with that.
