This story takes place in Nigeria. The chief of police is murdered but there is no evidence so the crime remains unsolved. He leaves behind his wife and his son, Nnamdi. Nnamdi takes his father's death hard and the potential killer shows up at his father's funeral. Nnamdi wants to get justice for his dad and his dad via a Ikenga is looking to help him make that happen.
I absolutely adore the culture of this story so far. It makes it a unique read. I also love the premise of the book.
I would love to find out if Nnamdi gets the justice he is looking for as he becomes the man of his house.
