Opening the story during Nnamdi's father's funeral is solid. Seeing his new, unpredictable through his eyes pulled me into the story. I liked the names of the unwanted group, and the diversity this story carries. Love the reference to Incredible Hulk in the beginning of the book! Magic isn't my thing, but would appeal to the targeted age group.
