I've read a couple of Okorafor's books and I'm glad she's branching out into the middle grade age group but I would call Akata Witch and Warrior middle grade but I guess it must be young adult. Her writing is wonderful. I like that she brings different cultures to the front and really focuses on teaching about them. The cover is perfect for a middle grade book!
