The emotional honesty of Nnamdi caught me right away and made me start rooting for him immediately. I was wondering when the magic would come in and wasn't sure if this was just going to be a detective story, so I was glad when the magical element came in. I want to keep reading to see how Nnamdi deals with his new powers, and whether he tells Chioma what's going on. She seems like a powerful ally and I want to get to know her more!
