Liked: Okorafor does a good job introducing a piece of African (Nigerian) culture to her stories (it would be interesting If she did contemporary). She is really good at introducing characters in a chapter ( a good skill to have with middle grade). I really enjoyed how she started off the story getting the readers attention.

Dislike:I've noticed as soon as Okorafor introduces the fantasy I lose interest in her stories. I cannot explain why but its happened more than once. That is why it would be interesting to see her write a contemporary novel.
