I've been a huge fan of Okarafor ever since "Who Fears Death," and I'm so excited to see that she's got a new book out. I've largely fallen off the YA fiction bandwagon in recent years, but I loved Akata Witch, and have high hopes for this one from what I've seen so far. I'm almost getting a Shazam vibe off this, with Nnamdi manifesting an adult body to fight crime and avenge his father, and while I know it's going to go in vastly different and unexpected directions (because I know Okarafor likes to do that), I also love it as a starting point.
