Wow! If You Could See the Sun was such an awesome read! I was expecting to enjoy it, but it succeeded my expectations with how it drew me in and never let go!
One thing I love about this book SO MUCH is the way the academic rivals dynamic is executed! For the longest time, I was rooting for them to kiss! Their banter was a lot of fun to read.
This book also does a wonderful job of criticizing class differences, poverty, inequality, and racism. The messaging there was top notch.
I really enjoyed our main character Alice, and found myself both cheering for her and feeling sympathy for her (like when she ate lunch in the opening chapter).
Overall this story had an amazing enemies to lovers romance while featuring a strong plot and a thought-provoking message.
After reading this, I've become a big fan of this author, and look forward to reading whatever they put out next!
