This cover does not reflect the content of this book at all which has tempered my enjoyment of the book significantly. The cover gives a far different idea of what the book would provide than what it actually does. On top of that, the narrative contains only the smallest portion of something fantastical, the main character randomly turning invisible which she has no control of whatsoever and which never ends up getting any sort of explanation or resolution. This "fantastical" element serves only as a means to the end for the plot which cheapened the fantastical nature. If it had been explained more I would have had a much better experience with the book which felt far more like an average Young Adult contemporary book, not my preferred genre at all, with fairly shallow characters and an unimaginative plot. To bring it back to the cover, I wish this book had been more like what the cover promised.
