Loved!
This is the first book I rave about this to anyone who asks for a book recommendation. I read If You Could See The Sun about and year ago, and I went into this book blind because I like to be pulled in by book covers, and wow what a joyride this took me on. The writing first and foremost was immaculate. I loved this book so much. The characters had so much depth that they feel like real people whose lives I just jumped right into. Every action Alice made so much sense and I was rooting for her the whole way. There was so much she went through and I was stressed for her stress, I wanted to solve everything for Alice myself but I knew the lesson would make it all worth it. This book lived cinematically in my mind and it still does to this day, I can recount scenes as if they were filmed! I can't wait for more Ann Liang books, I have also read This Time Its Real by Liang too, and she doesn't disappoint.
