If You Could See the Sun by Anna Liang is a well-written debut novel. I really liked the book cover as well as the synopsis , but wasn't fully sure what to expect from this author in terms of character development, plot development, pacing, and world building. I was pleasantly surprised by the experiences and growth of the main character. The author did a good job of exploring how the main character felt invisible compared to her wealthy classmates and then, ironically, became invisible which allowed her to spy on her classmates. From here the story becomes even more interesting as the reader gets to see the pros and cons of this experience and how much it impacts the main character as well as other characters in the story. Overall, I have to say that I enjoyed reading this story and would recommend it to other readers who nay enjoy it as well.
