What an exciting intro! I think this is a debut but the writing is excellent so far which is always promising. Alice is immediately endearing and identifiable as a fellow sort-of loner.
The cover is gorgeous but kind of weird considering the book's plot (from what I can gather so far). It doesn't exactly match? But it's intriguing all the same and would still make me pick it up.
Since we're left with a cliffhanger with this first look, I want to know what sort of strange power Alice suddenly has and how this very obvious future enemies-to-lovers with Andrew will play out.
