I do think the synopsis of this book is awfully appealing, but I’ll admit I’m growing wary of young adult reads. Many are just not working for me anymore. The writing in this certainly looks age appropriate and perhaps that’s why it isn’t luring me in. But I still love MG so I don’t know. Anyway, for the target audience, I think this will be a great pick.
