As someone who's feeling stressed about having enough money to pay for school, I was going to root for the MC from the get-go. I'd like to keep reading because the writing gives me the impression I can relax and probably finish the book in one sitting and think about its commentary on wealth and class at the same time. It's already in my TBR!
