First of all , that cover is a masterpiece. I love seeing the character I'm reading about (instead of just using my imagination) and the colorful (waves? clouds? blobs?) are super cute. If this cover was a poster, it'd be on my wall.
Also, the book is already getting juicy, and it's only the first chapter. We got a hot academic nemesis, a mysterious scar on Alice's mother's hand, and a prestigious boarding school future being snatched away. I'm wholly invested. AND THAT LAST LINE? If I don't win this raffle, I'm definitely going to be thinking of this book 24/7 until the release. It's just THAT good already.
