First off, I would like to thank Ann Liang for really introducing the main character to the audience instead of just rushing into the story. I am excited to see where this story goes. Another thing I am excited to see is the development of the characters throughout the book. Alice and Henry are academic rivals, but will their relationship grow into something more? Will Alice choose to use her newfound powers for good? If not, will she come to her senses and confess? I must know the answer to these questions. On top of the plot already dragging me in, the cover art is spectacular and makes me want to read this book and have it on my shelves.
