This novel the stories of an eclectic family from rural Georgia as their patriarch dies and they are reunited for the funeral. Secrets are revealed as they all stay in town for an upcoming wedding. This book surprised me by how much I loved it. Incredibly witty and heartwarming all at the same time. I laughed, I cried, and I learned from the book. With so many characters I was constantly entertained but never overwhelmed. The story was a sweet telling of a loved ones loss and how no matter where you are in life you always have your family. What I liked most was how each individual story line crossed over with the others. So, as we are following one cousin, we also know whats going on with the others at the same time.
This novel was very well written and emotion inducing. A true original story that I could not put down. It was also a nice quick read. I do not think anyone who picks this up will regret it.
